Well, the best place to look is inside Angular’s public GitHub repository. I just looked there, seems like most of the recent commits at this time are Ivy-related:

I can see most of the work right now is focused around ngcc, the Angular Comparability Compiler. So it seems like the Status document is indeed outdated.
